Although the Ravens managed to let a 22 point lead evaporate and allow the game to become unexpectedly close during the second half, Lewis contends the comeback has a much more sinister backstory than the one told by the obviously unmotivated and entitled Raven's defense.
As revealed in this year's America’s Game series by NFL Films, the former Ravens linebacker states that he does not believe that the power went out accidentally in a game that the Ravens were dominating before the darkness fell.
“I’m not gonna accuse nobody of nothing — because I don’t know facts. But you’re a zillion-dollar company, and your lights go out? No. No way,” Lewis said, via Nate Davis of USA Today. "You cannot tell me somebody wasn’t sitting there and when they say, ‘The Ravens [are] about to blow them out. Man, we better do something.’ … That’s a huge shift in any game, in all seriousness. And as you see how huge it was because it let them right back in the game.”
Lewis' supporters are quick to point out the strange connections between Superbowl XLVII and other conspiracies currently being denied by the US government.

Despite the obvious age-related issues associated with a stadium nearly 40 years old, was the power outage the first phase of a larger attack aimed at controlling the minds of the Baltimore Ravens?
Did DARPA regain control of the situation in the last seconds of the game and allow the Ravens an illegal hold to closeout the game without incident?
